Thanksgiving weekend in Cedar

This year was my mom's turn for Thanksgiving. I was scheduled to work, but luckily nobody wanted to be at the hospital this year (the staff, the patients, or the Dr.'s) so enough people were discharged and I was able to get off at noon just in time for my grandma's delicious Thanksgiving dinner (yes I am in my scrubs :). I am very thankful for my family this year. I would be sad and lost without them.

On Saturday, Luke and I decided to take a drive up Cedar Mountain to look for a Christmas tree. It had stormed during Thanksgiving, so I was prepared and bundled up :) It was a pretty nice day and we found a really cute tree. The mountain was beautiful. Part of Navajo Lake was iced over and there was about 4-6 inches of snow. Shelby loves playing in snow. She jumps around in it like a rabbit. It's hilarious.
P.S. we cut down 2 trees while we were up there. The extra one we have is kind of a thin tree, but if anybody wants it, let me know!

I love those Cedar mountains! Yea for real Christmas trees. If I was willing to drive to get it, I'd take that tree off your hands. I'm glad they let you off for Thanksgiving! Your family is cute!

It looks like you guys had a great Thanksgiving! It definately looks like winter there. Did you know we're moving to Enterprise? I have to get prepared for cold winters like that! I don't know how I feel about it to be quite honest :)

I want so badly to make cuting down our own Christmas tree a tradition but we are too lazy right now! It's so beautiful and white there! Believe it or not but we haven't had any snow yet here in Colorado!

We aren't building yet...I told Nate I couldn't do it if we didn't build eventually :) We bought an old house, it's on about 2 acres, though. So we'll live there for a little while and then build on that property. But I know, I went back and forth alot! With the weather, and the limited stuff to do...but this was a really good investment for us, so if we hate it, atleast we'll come out ahead. Anyway...when Brett and Kim get here, we should all hang out since we haven't seen anyone forever!!!

St. George will always be home to me too. I was totally just thinking that today. Even though it's really not too far away, it still is going to be a huge adjustment for me. Nate is gonna be in 7th heaven up there, I just hope it grows on me. I do like Enterprise, but it's always just been nice to visit...so we'll see how it is to live there. THat's nice that you have a basement! We need to come visit you guys and see your place, we're bad friends. I think Brett and Kim are coming around the middle of the month, too, and they're staying til new years or something. So we can have a little party or something.

It looks so cold there. I am actually excited to wear jeans and a jacket and not sweat to death. Wendi wants to have a Christmas party with everyone. Can't wait to see you. We should get Juli and all go running.
